Judith Taylor-Callahan, 75, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017.  A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, she was a former real estate agent with Century 21 Nachman Realty.

Judy is survived by her husband, Kelley J. Callahan; children, Lynda Haynes and David Haynes and his wife, Janie; step-children, Mary Tuinei and John Callahan, sisters, Carolyn Harper and Sunny FyFe; brother, Ron Taylor and grandchildren, Mary Anne Haynes, Aurora Tuinei and Aurelia Tuinei. Judy was preceded in death by her son Murray Haynes.

Judy was a compassionate person and before her health forced her into retirement, her longtime career as a Realator  afforded her the opportunity to meet, work with and build friendships. Judy was active in the church; In past years she taught Sunday School and was an avid needle worker and crafter in her spare time. In fact Judy crocheted many baby blankets for countless family members and friends over the years. In better years she was also an active Civil War Reenactor, having married into that hobby she would travel to battle sites and camp with her husband Kelley.

Judy will be missed and was loved by all who knew her.

" I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me in the crown of righteousness, which the lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. "

A service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 12 noon Friday, July 28, 2017 at Todds Lane Bible Church in Hampton. ( 1457 Todds Ln. Hampton, VA 23666)
