Judith C. Buie, 75, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Born in Danville, VA, after graduating from George Washington High School in 1963, she married her high school sweetheart who joined the US Air Force. The were assigned to several duty stations, Dayton, OH where Jeffrey was born, Hawaii, and back to Danville where Jennifer was born. In 1973 she moved to Hampton and was a single mother providing for her children until she married the love of her life, James D. Buie, Jr. in May of 1981. James died on October 31, 2014.

Judith enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Hallmark channel, NCIS, and other detective shows. She also collected owls.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey L. Clayton and his wife, Pattie; her daughter, Jennifer L. Corkrum and her husband, Michael; her step-daughter, Crystal B. Sullivan and her husband, Greg; and six grandchildren, Anakin Clayton, Jackson Clayton, Tyler Stallings, Amanda Stallings, Brandon Webb, and Lauren Webb.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2020 in Hampton Memorial Gardens and may be watched live by clicking here.
