Judith Anne Savedge Baxter, 82 of Leesburg, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 28, 2023. She retired from Kaiser Permanente in 2006 after 17 years as a medical receptionist.

Born in Hampton May 14, 1940, Judy graduated Hampton High School class of 1958.

Judy is survived by her six children, Desirée Baxter and her husband Eugene Melino of Bronx, NY; Allen Baxter and his wife Lynda of Locust Grove, VA; Kim and her husband John Babb of Carrollton, VA; Troy Baxter of Herndon, VA; Bryan Baxter and his  wife Laura of Argyle, TX; Brandi and her husband Edgar Santiago of Elgin, SC. She also leaves her 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George A and Frances Drummond Savedge, and her brother, John J Savedge.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel, 245 S Armistead Ave, Hampton. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choice.
