Joyce Richardson Lang, 82, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025.  Born in Spring Hope, NC, and raised in Portsmouth, VA, she had been a resident of Hampton since 1969.  Joyce worked at Best Products for more than 26 years as a diamond specialist. Her bright smile and love of jewelry helped her sell many engagement rings over the years. Everyone loved Mrs. Lang!  She adored her grandsons, enjoyed gardening, lighthouses, family gatherings, and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Bandit.  She attended Community Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth for many years with her parents and family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton N. Lang; her son, Christopher Lang; her parents, Ellis and Delane Jenkins Richardson; a sister, Diane Cross; and a brother, Rudy Richardson. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Lang; her grandsons, Evan and Connor Lang; and her siblings, Joan Richardson, Raynell Akram (Khalid), Danny Richardson (Rosemary), and Lorri Richardson.
