Joseph F. Cobb, 85, was called to heaven on August 1, 2016. Everyone fortunate enough to know Joe will remember his huge heart, his playful and jovial spirit, his green thumb, and his love of tinkering with appliances and home repairs over the years.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Ruby and is left to cherish a lifetime of these wonderful memories by son, Joseph Cobb Jr. and wife Anne; daughters, Brenda Scott  and husband Jerry; Cheryl Walker and husband Lucky; and Ginger Cone and husband Marty; sisters, Maggie C. Tritt, and Marie Thomason; brother Millard Cobb; sisters-in-law, Penny White and Pie Mabrey; twelve grandchildren, over a dozen great-grandchildren and counting.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 pm, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Calvary Assembly of God by Pastor David Highlander with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30-2:30 at the church.
