Obituary
Joseph N. Burch 74 the son of Juanita and Les Onley brother of Mique Luckett and Patricia Kinder. Joe graduated from Oscar Smith highschool in 1960. Joe met his wife to be Sheila Harper in the first grade. Joe and Sheila married in 1962, Joe was working at international steel. Joe left international steel and began working at Newport News Shipbuilding in 1964 and retired in 2007 after 43 years.
Joe and Sheila had three sons Bret, Bryan, and Joseph(Rhonda). Joe coached little league at Phoebus and Hampton Wythe. During the off season Joe enjoyed golf and hunting. Joe's second love was fishing he had several citation plagues for different species of fish he had caught. He was and avid member of the Va Saltwater Association. Joe also liked to do woodworking making antique furnishings.
Joe got sick with dementia in early 2010 and continued to fight this horrible disease till his last breath Feb 5th 2017. We Love you DAD.
