Joseph Salvatore Balducci died unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep on January 3, 2020 in Hampton, Virginia at the young age of 62.

Joe is survived by his daughters: Tiffany, Chelsea, and Bianca and grandson Jackson. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph "Big Joe Bal," his mother, Marie Sheppard (nee Fill), his sister Deborah Wildonger, and numerous beloved pets.

Joseph was born December 10, 1957 in Camden, New Jersey. Throughout his life he was known for his big personality, generous nature, quick wit, excellent cooking chops - particularly Italian cuisine, and his ability to connect with those around him. He served with the US Navy in the 1970's and 80's where he met the mother of his three children. Joe often mentioned that his legacy and purpose in life was his children and the impact they are making on the world around them.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Joseph Balducci's memory can be made directly to his family or to a charity of your choice.
