John G. Saunders' Obituary
John Grady Saunders, 86, died Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Born in Elizabeth City County, he retired as a Shipfitter from the Newport News Shipyard and had served his country in the US Army during Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Doris Saunders; and many nieces and nephews.
