John Junior Raynor, 88, died Tuesday, November 4, 2015. Born in North Carolina he was a longtime Hampton resident and Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Raynor loved camping and the outdoors and was know as jokester by friends and family. Mr. Raynor is survived by his children, Mary Robinson and husband Michael, Ed Raynor and wife Chris, Jim Raynor and Joseph T. Boswell; grandchildren, John Raynor Jr, Jennifer Dickmeyer and husband Bob, and Don Morelli; and great-grandson, Michael Dickmeyer. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday, November 9, 2015 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with interment to follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-5:30 at the funeral home.
