John Randall Ware, 61, died July 4, 2022, after a brief illness.  Born in Farmville, Virginia to parents OE and Mary Ware, he spent most of his life in Hampton, graduating from Kecoughtan High School in 1978.  Randy was extremely proud to serve in the United States Navy as a medical technician.  He graduated from John Tyler Community College and was a licensed funeral director for 20 years.  While attending college he maintained a full-time job as an operating room technician and graduated Summa come laude.  Most recently, he was employed by Top Guard Security.  Randy was a lifelong learner, loved trivia, and had a vast knowledge of the Bible.  He had a great sense of humor and dearly loved dogs.  Randy was a beloved, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and he will be missed.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents OE and Mary Ware.  He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margie Ware; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Jeremy Nelson; his siblings, Mary Crilley (Tim), Sharon Rateau (Munro), Dana Ware (Faith Davis), and Jim Ware (Rachel Morris); six nieces; three grandnieces, and three grandnephews; and his beloved dog, Sallie May.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hampton Baptist Church, where Randy was a lifelong member.  The family will receive friends after the service at a reception at the church.
