On Friday, April 27, 2018, John Thomas "Tommy" Hutton passed away at home, joining his soul mate Brenda.  Brenda and Tommy were married for 47 years and Brenda passed away in January of this year.  The two had a love that could not be separated.  Tommy was born April 27, 1945 and lived most of his life in Hampton.  He graduated from Hampton High School and the University of Virginia School of Engineering.  Tommy dearly loved his family, tinkering at home and being on, or near, the water.  He is survived by his daughter, Tami Hutton Garmany; her husband, Rick Garmany; and his grandsons, Sam and Ben Garmany.  He is also survived by his brothers, Albert Hutton, Jr and his wife, Leanne; and Christopher Hutton and his wife, Lynne.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 514 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tommy's name may be sent to the discretionary fund, First Presbyterian Church 514 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, 23669.
