JoAnn Goodrich Gibbons, 80, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. She was a native of Hampton, VA born September 10, 1932. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie A. Gibbons; brother, Noel Goodrich, and sister, Virginia Gloss. JoAnn is survived by her son, Gib Gibbons and his wife Brenda; daughter Carolyn Parks and Danny; grandchildren, David Gibbons and Amy Clark and husband Scott; and great-grandson, Brandon Clark.

For the last several years, her home has been Bayside of Poquoson. "Thank you nice nurses". A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, at Hampton Memorial Gardens by Rev. Lamar Fetterman. Friends, who wish, are invited to pay their respects at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home at their convenience Sunday afternoon.
