Jo Ann Johnson, 73, passed away on April 8, 2018. A lifelong resident of Hampton, Jo Ann was best known for her lengthy career as a hairdresser. Jo Ann was never one to sit around and was a successful business woman who owned beauty salons and a restaurant. In her free time she loved to shoot pools and play darts. Jo Ann loved people especially her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jimmy Johnson; her parents, Dick and Florine Coffey; and her grandson, Kenneth Goodman. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa G. Redmon and her husband Jeff; sons, Richard Gibson and Kenneth Gibson; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will hold a celebration of Jo Ann's life on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Buckroe Beach by the stage at 6PM.
