Jo Ann Forrest Barbour went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2014. She is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her William and Eula Congleton, her parents William Forrest and Elma Fanny, her uncles and aunts who were like brothers and sisters to her, Frances Curtis and her husband Harold, Katie Scott and her husband Donald, William Congleton and his wife Polly, and Floyd Congleton. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Curtis Barbour, her daughters Tracee Carmean and late husband Stephen, Julie Fowler, Vicki Drury and husband Robert, Merri Relleva and husband Richard as well as eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind five sisters and a brother with a sister and brother preceding her in death, and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from the Saint Vincent's Catholic High School as Valedictorian in 1952. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. Immediately following at 2:00 pm, a Mass of the Resurrection be celebrated by Rev. John David Ramsey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church or your favorite charity.
