Jesse Bullock, 86, of Hampton, Virginia, originally lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, went home to be with our Lord on March 06, 2023.  Jesse was preceded in death by his son Galen Bullock (2017), parents, Louette Bullock, Lofton Harris, sisters, Ethel Bullock (Melvin Smalls), Dorothy Bullock (Booker T. Spright), and brothers, Alex Bullock, Roy Bullock (Dorothy); and has one surviving brother, Willie Bullock (Ruby).

Jesse enjoyed working with his hands, landscaping, and any outdoor work. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family; and did this by bringing them together over his love of cooking. Jesse was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Some of his greatest qualities were his loyalty, strength, generosity, kindness, and personality.

He'll be cherished and missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Gloria Bullock; daughter, Tracy Leach (Eric); sons, Henry Bullock (Magdalia), Jesse Bullock (Mella), and Kenneth Bullock (Leigh); grandchildren, Kahdijah Ramsey (Raymond), Jalen Blakely, Erica Leach, Aronte Leach, Shanea King, Vakema Bullock, Jaquad Bullock, Jesse Bullock Jr, Darius Bullock, Deisha Bullock, Sean Bullock, Alexis Mitchell, Shamika Connell. Natasha Bullock, Henry Bullock Jr., Gloria Bullock, Jessica Bullock; many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of loving family and friends.

The viewing will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2023 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton, VA with a Memorial Service immediately following at 2 PM at the funeral home.
