Jerry Wade Langdon, 79, died Sunday, October 1, 2017. Born in Benson, NC he moved to Hampton in 1966 after serving in the Army. Wade had worked for many years for Drywall Associates before opening his company Wade's Drywall which he ran for 13 years.

Wade is survived by his wife, Linda J. Langdon; children, Timothy Langdon and wife Melanie, Craig Langdon, George Waters and wife Susie, Timothy Waters and Tammy Waters; two sisters, Shirley Faye Miller and Jean Myatt; a brother, Jonas Langdon; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at First Friends Church by Pastor Joe Stroud. The family will receive friends at a reception Saturday in the church following the service.

The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Riverside Hospice, 12420 Warwick Blvd, Suite 6E, Newport News, VA 23606.
