Jeffrey Allen White, 52, died after a courageous battle with cancer on June 24, 2014. He was born in Dixie Hospital in Hampton, VA and lived his life on the Peninsula. Jeff was a machinist for Craft Industrial Inc. of Hampton for several years. He loved spending time woodworking, model making, playing the electric guitar and was a Chicago Bears, Boston Celtics and NASCAR fan. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Phyllis White. He is survived by his brother Michael White; sister, Michelle Tobin; his aunts, Vickie Wright, Joyce Vieno, Bonnie White, Betty White and Ruth Saunders. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 5:30-6 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with a memorial service to begin at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
