IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey
Gonzalez
April 13, 2021
Jeffrey Gonzalez, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Born in New York, he relocated to Virginia with his mother and four sisters. Jeffrey was an extremely hard worker who enjoyed life and his family. He attended Denbigh High School and afterwards worked any job where he could "tinker". He could fix just about anything.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Olga Izquierdo and later, by his father, Manuel A. Gonzalez. He is survived by four sisters: Deborah Gonzalez of Newport News; Belinda Chandler of Burlington, NC; Ami Anne Gonzalez of Hampton, VA; Cynthia Gonzalez of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Keith D. Chandler , 8 nephews, 2 nieces, 5 great-nephews and 7 great-nieces.
Our brother was a funny guy – nice funny, not mean funny, and was liked by all whom met him. He always had a smile on his face and a Marlboro in his pocket . He loved the Yankees – win or lose- a true fan. Jeffrey loved his family and enjoyed cooking for his nieces & nephews whenever he got the opportunity to see them. He was a momma's boy! Now he is with mom and we are o.k. with that. We will deeply miss with all our hearts. We know death is a part of life and we believe we expect to be ready for it, but NEVER when it is one of own and especially not when he was so young. We expected Jeffrey to always be here. We hope that while he was here on this earth, he knew that we loved him very much! And he will be missed !
A very warm & heart-felt mention of two incredibly special friends, who were always there for Jeffrey and showed him unconditional love & support, Donna Brown (his angel) and Frederick Truss.
