Obituary
Jeannette Gaines Grigg, 87, died Friday, March 26, 2021. Born in West Virginia, she had been a Peninsula resident for many years where she worked as a product demonstrator at Costco. She was a woman with a strong Christian faith who loved serving the Lord. Known to many as the "butterfly lady", she loved meeting people and helping them when she could. She lived life to the fullest and had a huge heart.
Preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Ralph Llewellyn and her husband, Harold Grigg; survivors include her daughters, Karen Sargent and husband, Lyndall and their son, Josiah Sargent; and Barbara "Bebe" Wilker and husband, Rick; an honorary daughter, Sharon Wyrick; and honorary son, Steve Sprik; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; five nieces and numerous loving friends.

Finding the Way
Helper of man
to walk and pray.
A keeper of Light
To share with all,
A disciple of Love
That spurned the law.
A woman of strength
Whose doors opened wide,
to call in the hungry,
The sick and the blind;
Elegance set her table
With plenty set aside-
For those in need and
all those that cried.
Joyous in giving
Who reached up high
To illuminate new life
As a gentle butterfly.
We give forth thanks
To our dear Lord above
For giving us hope
In His vessel of Love.
