Jeanne, a daughter of the late Marion R. and Rene S. Zedekar died Monday, August 12, 2019. She was a dedicated wife to the late James M. Watson for 55 years as he preceded her in death on September 23, 1998. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Elaine Z. Schade and Marion Z. Johnson.

Jeanne was a devoted Sunday School teacher and served as church secretary for many years at 3 Baptist Churches from Maryland to Florida. In her late years, she was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Hampton, VA.

Survivors include her daughters- Sharron J. LaRue and Janice W. Sateren; Brother- Raymond G. Zedekar (Shelby); Grandchildren- Marian Forbes (Bob), Joseph LaRue (Lisa, Kimberly Hansin, Raymond LaRue (Amy), and Lee Sateren (Selene; Great-Grandchildren- Zachary LaRue, Dylan LaRue, Kenneth Hansin, Carter Hansin, River Sateren and Eliza Abess; Great-Great-Grandson Wesson LaRue; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to all the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living Hampton for the loving care she received over the last 5 years, her dedicated doctor Suzette Worbois and the Grace Hospice team.
