Jean Duncan Ritchie, 80, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Born in Detroit, she had lived in Hampton, VA for the last three years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Ritchie; survivors include her children, Terril Ritchie Willoughby, Michael Ritchie, Scott Ritchie, and Jill Ritchie Matye; grandchildren, Amanda Willoughby, Christopher and Brandon Ritchie and Nicole and Brian Ritchie; a great-grandson, Carter Ritchie; two brothers; her longtime companion, Jimmy Novotny; and her beloved dog, Fergi.
