Jean M. Ballard, 85, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Born in Richmond, she was a Hampton resident for many years. In Richmond she worked at the McGuire VA Medical Center and retired in April, 1995 from the Bellwood Defense General Supply Center in Richmond.  In Hampton she worked in real estate for Cardinal Realty. Jean was very active and loved to travel. One of her favorite places was the Philippines where she met and married her husband, Jeineer Rosales.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ballard and two former husbands, Robert Goodman and Edward P. Ballard, Sr. Survivors include her children, Linda Brown and Edward P. Ballard, Jr.; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
