Jason Kent Lawson, 50, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015. A native of Bristol, TN, he had been a Hampton resident since 1972 where he attended Langley Christian Church. He was a natural born mechanic and loved helping his friends with their vehicle repairs. Preceded in death by his father, Gene A. Lawson and his grandparents, JK and Volney Lawson and Robert Selmer and Viva Whitlock Denton; he is survived by his mother, Sally D. Lawson. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 13, 2015 at Langley Christian Church with Pastor Matt Scott officiating. Interment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, VA. Arrangements by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
