Jane Johnson Jordan, 79, died Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in Hampton, she was a 1962 graduate of Hampton High School. She was a Special Needs teacher's aide for Hampton City Schools and was a member of the Hampton Elks Lodge #366 where she worked and volunteered her time. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband Gene Dawson Jordan, Sr., her parents, Theodore and Rivers Johnson, and her sister, Judy Holland. She is survived by her children, Gene D. Jordan, Jr., Jeff Jordan, and Kathy Hopkinson; six grandchildren, Cathryn Elizabeth Ann Jordan, Mackenzie Alexandra Cyrus and husband, Austin, Rivers and Tyler Jordan, and Jade and Nicole Hopkinson; two brothers, Larry Johnson and wife, Janet and Danny Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3pm Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Hampton Elks Lodge, 2204 Mingee Drive, Hampton, VA 23661.
