Jane "Janey" Harden Kosin died unexpectedly in Sentara Careplex on February 13, 2015 in Hampton, VA at the age of 40. She leaves to cherish in her loving memory; Husband Davion Harden and her ten year old son Jared Harden; Parents, Norman and Kim Kosin; Brothers Kenneth Kosin; James (Soon Duk) Kosin; Sisters Elisa Fields and Carla Smith, Mother-in-law Agnes Harden, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Jane was born on October 2, 1974 in Newport News, VA to Norman and Kim Kosin. She graduated from Peninsula Catholic High School in 1992 and attended Christopher Newport University. She married Davion Harden, her true love in June of 1996. Prior to her marriage, Jane was employed at Foodlion grocery stores. She enjoyed fishing and bingo, but dedicated most of her life to others; such as the Hampton Roads Ram's organization. A funeral will be held on Saturday February 21st at 12:30 P. M. at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave., Hampton VA. Father Sean Prince will preside over the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jane's life. A reception at The Grey Goose, 101 West Queens Way Hampton, VA 23669 will follow the service Saturday. The interment will be held at 11:30 A. M., Monday, February 23, 2015 at Albert G. Horton Mem. Veterans Cemetery (albertghortonjr.com) in Suffolk VA. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made for Jared's college fund, 26 Tallwood Drive, Hampton VA 23666.
