James Jeryl Levister, 82, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. Born in Norfolk to Maynard King Levister and Lois Ferebee, Jeryl was a dedicated and devoted husband and was always available to lend a hand with any project. Jeryl "Slim", retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years of service.

Jeryl is survived by his sons, Matt and Brad; grandchildren, Ashley, Nathan and Destiny.

The family will receive friends from 4-5:30 pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton.
