James Michael Jones, 49, died unexpectedly on September 27, 2015. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carla Ebbert Jones; four young daughters, Sydnee, Sophia, Sinclair and Sanaa Jones; his younger brother, Benjamin L. Jones; two grown daughters, Tiffany and Ashley; three grandchildren, Laylah Jones, Mariah Hinton and Ashton Hinton; his mother, Pauline Hamlin-Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Jones. James was a successful plumbing subcontractor and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at 10 AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton with a funeral service beginning at 11AM.
