James "Jim" Thomas Feild, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Born in Fremont, NE, has been a Hampton resident since 1985.
Jim served in the US Navy during World War II. He was then called up to continue protecting our country by working as a special agent for the Washington Field Office of the FBI in the Soviet Counter Intelligence Squad. He retired in 1977 after 26 years. He was a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Inc. and 1st Presbyterian Church in Hampton. Jim will be remembered by family and friends as a fine man and a true gentleman with kindness and compassion in his thoughts and actions.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Jean Feild; sons, Dr. John M. Feild and his wife, Ruth, of Grand Junction, Co. and Dr. Robert J. Feild and his wife, Terri, of Hampton; and grandchildren, Ryan, Natalie and her husband Colby, Danny, David, Jen and her husband Andy, and Tom and his wife Hannah.
The family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to your local hospice organization. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
