Obituary
James Junious Everett, 76, passed away, Friday, January 3, 2014. A lifelong resident of Newport News, he retired from Newport News Shipbuilding.
James was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Williams. He is survived by his children, Lorraine Truhart, James Everett, Jr., Curtis Everett, Patricia Jones and Devan Chapman; sisters, Vivian Freeman and Barbara Lane; brothers, Alphonso Everett and Eugene Everett; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted, 2:00 PM Sunday at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr. in Hampton, 757-825-8070.
