James Melton Evans, 79, passed away on August 4, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, he lived everyday of his life like it was his last in Vero Beach, FL. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as Railroad Engineer/Conductor from FEC Railway after 33 years.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Diane W. Evans. He is survived by his children, Thor Evans, JoHanna Enrico Kenworthy and Hubert Andy Medlin; and five grandchildren.
