James "Jim" Conlin 94, of Ocean City, MD (formerly of Phoebus), passed away February 19, 2021 in his home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 23, 1927, he served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and attended St. Joseph's University. He worked as an industrial engineer at numerous companies and ended his career at GE in King of Prussia, PA. In retirement Jim enjoyed attending the YMCA's Silver Sneakers program and volunteered his time with Meals on Wheels.

Jim is survived by his sister Dolores (Dee), his son Jim Conlin, Jr. (Shirley); daughters Susan Williams and Marie Conlin (Darren); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous much-loved nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Mugler Conlin.

A private interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Newport News, VA but may be watched live at 1:30 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 by clicking here. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Fort Monroe, VA at a later date. R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
