Obituary
James M. Abbott, age 95, died on Monday, December 31, 2018. Mr. Abbott served in the Navy 20 years and retired HMC USN, and then retired after 23 years with the Virginia Public Health Department.
He was predeceased by his wife of over 70 years, Eva M. Abbott. Survivors include his sister, Loree Williams of Co; daughter, Donna Roberts of Al; son, James "Ricky" Abott and wife Catherine of Hampton; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
