Jacqueline Smith Stewart, 92, passed away on January 31, 2026.  A lifelong resident of Hampton, she graduated from Hampton High School in 1951.  She retried from the Accounts Payable Department at Newport News Shipbuilding.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Maryanna and Ralph Smith;  she is survived by her sister, Joanne Mainwaring (Tom); nieces and nephews, Tom Mainwaring (Elizabeth), Curtis Mainwaring (Viki), Amanda Hepler (Gary), and numerous great nieces and nephews that she truly adored. She will be greatly missed.
