Jacqueline "Elaine" Morris passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21st after a long and courageous battle with cancers.
Elaine was born in Warner Robbins Georgia on December 27, 1960 to Patricia and Jack Morris. Her father was in the military so she moved constantly. Once her father retired in Hampton, Virginia Elaine was able to forge friendships that lasted throughout her life. Elaine graduated from Kecoughtan High School and earned a bachelor's degree from St. Leo University. She retired from Northrup Grumman where she was employed for over 35 years. She loved Halloween and threw a costume party every year. She also loved the band Aerosmith
and attended several of their concerts.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Jack Morris, granddaughter Lily Marie Morris, stepfather Al Leonard, three step brothers Ronnie, Patrick, and Michael, and the love of her life David Mitchell. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Pat Leonard, son Shawn Morris (Claire), sister Denise Kamarakafego, nephews Steven and Landon McAbee, Logan Elliott (Nicole), and niece Kendall Carpenter (Ryan), stepmother Dagmar Morris, and too many friends to mention.

Celebration of life will be private.
