Jacqueline M. Dulong passed away on Thursday March 16, 2017.  Born February 14, 1929 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Massey. She attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She met her husband, Elmer (Frank) Dulong, in French class. They were married on June 6, 1950 and enjoyed 66 years of a spectacular marriage.  They were blessed with the births of a son and a daughter, Frank T. Dulong, of Reston, Virginia, was born in Trenton, New Jersey September 10, 1951 and Jeanette was born in New York City, New York September, 23, 1953. Jeanette predeceased her mother on February 15, 2014.

The family traveled to many countries as her husband performed duties in the United States Air Force as an Accounting and Finance and a Management analysis officer:  to Holland for four years; Orlando, Florida for three years; Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana for one year; Montgomery, Alabama for three years; Springfield, Virginia for four years; and finally Hampton for the last 41 years.

Jacqueline was a music major during her high school and college attendance.  She followed her mother's career as a singer in many of the churches in Cedar Rapids.  She was a devoted wife and mother, collected dolls and figurines, and cared deeply for many family cats.

The family wants to thank the Medical Directors and staff of the Riverside House Calls Practice and Hospice Community Care for the long and devoted care of Jacqueline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Drive, Hampton.
