Jacqueline "Gramzs" Ann White Willett, 82, passed away on March 29, 2018 at her home in Hampton. Born May 17, 1935, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Sanford and Rose Anne Baldwin White, and her brother-in-law, Jerry Hall. She graduated from the first class of Gloucester High School in 1954. She owned and operated Willett Bookkeeping and Tax Service for over 32 years and continually opened her home and heart to friends, family, and exchange students from various countries. After retiring, she worked for Hampton's Main Library for over 10 years and was a revered exemplary employee. Her direct and illuminating 'Momma Quotes of the Day' on Facebook always provided tough love, wisdom, and always a laugh. She will be remembered for her directness and her big hugs.
Left to cherish her memories are her four children and their spouses; Mary and David Wilkinson of Gloucester, Richard Willett of Hampton, JoAnn Willett of Hampton, Rose and David Mustain of Alvin, Texas, Anna and Kent Potter of Hampton and her grandchildren Anne, Andrew and Allie Wilkinson of Gloucester and Matthew and Jacob Mustain of Alvin, Texas. As well as her sisters, Betty White, Richie Lou Carmine (Daniel) and Pammie Hall all of Gloucester, and her numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and her extended family from around the world.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 am, Friday, April 6, 2018 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton. Interment at Ware Episcopal Church Cemetery, Ware Neck, VA will follow at 12:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hampton Public Library at 4207 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23669.
