She is lovingly remembered by her children Cindy (Brent Walker) of Filer, Id.; Daniel (Kim) of Montezuma,Ia.; Matthew of Laurel, Ia.; and Michal (Will Scroggins) of Arthur, IL.; 9 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Jackie was born July 4, 1931, to Raymond and Edna Snow in Phoebus, Va.  She met and married Wayne Speas Dec. 10, 1955.  They moved to Iowa where Wayne began farming.  From city girl to farm life, she enjoyed being a housewife, tending her children, growing gardens, taking care of farm animals, and making many a meal for many in need.  She was a gentle soul with a love for the Lord that was evidenced by her faith throughout her life.  She was dearly loved.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 am, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Lloyd Donica with interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-7 pm at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethel Christian School.
