Jacob Joseph Fricano, 94, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born in Syracuse, he retired from Monroe Abstract and Title Corp as Vice President and Title Examiner in 1991 after 50 years of service and had been a Hampton, VA resident for the last 7 years. He enjoyed golfing, playing Bridge and reading and was a huge Yankees and Syracuse basketball fan. He served in the US Army during WWII and had toured with All American Male Chorus in the 40's for two years.

Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Fricano; survivors include his children, Michael Fricano and wife, Debby, Christine Berg and husband, David and Donna Romanyk and husband, Joseph; his brother, Charles Fricano; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:30 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hampton with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30. Interment with Army honors will take place at 2:00 PM at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans' cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
