Ilva Hall Collins, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Born in Rainswood, Va., she was a lifelong resident of the Northern Neck until moving to Hampton with her daughter eight years ago. She was a member of Fairfields Baptist Church in Burgess, VA. Ilva was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny O'Bier and Wayland O'Bier. She is survived by her daughter, Becky H. Thompson and her husband Tommy of Hampton; son, Mitch O'Bier and his wife Debbie of Wicomico Church, VA; brother, Gilliam Hall and his wife Shirley of Wicomico Church; grandchildren, Melissa Middleton and her husband Randy, BJ O'Bier and his wife Nicole, and Michael O'Bier and his wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Josh and Wyatt Middleton, Rivers O'Bier and Ryleigh O'Bier; daughter-in-law, Wanda O'Bier and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday at Fairfields Baptist Church, 15213 Northumberland Highway in Burgess, VA. Immediately following at 11:00 a funeral service will be conducted at the Church with Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
