Hildegard G. Pannewitz, 78, died Sunday, August 21, 2016. Born in Germany, she had lived in Hampton since 1974 where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, homemaking and taking care of her family; and always enjoyed going to yard sales. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Martin Pannewitz; survivors include her children, Michael Pannewitz and his wife, Teresa, Susan C. Fuller, and Karla Chamlee and her husband, Gene; five grandchildren, Martin Pannewitz and his wife, Sherrie, Julia Pannewitz, Tyler Courtney and his wife, Lehn, Kevin Courtney and his wife, Heather, and Tabitha Chamlee; and four great-granddaughters, Madison, Ashton, Madelyn and Clara.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
