Obituary
Hilda Virginia Douglas, 81, died Sunday, October 12, 2014. A native of Easton, MD, she had been a Yorktown resident since 2001. An avid reader, she loved dolphins and feeding the seagulls by the ocean. She is survived by her children, Bruce A. Douglas, Karen J. Hinton, Lynda D. Chivis, and Krystopher K. Douglas, Sr.; her siblings, James Miller, Beulah Phillips, Vernon Miller and Buster Miller; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 11830 Canon Blvd., Ste A102, Newport News, VA 23606.
