TSgt. Henry Victor "Mase" Mason, US Air Force retired, 82, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016. A native of Missouri, he was a longtime Hampton resident where he owned and operated Mason's Mobile Home Park. He attended Hampton Church of the Nazarene for many years and had participated in many witness trips in ministry overseas. He retired from the US Air Force in 1971 after 20 years of service.

Mase was a very talented woodworker and handyman. He built most of his own home and always enjoyed helping others in any way he could.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Beatrice L. "Becky" Mason; a sister, Rosella Wells and her husband, Don; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2016 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment with full Air Force honors will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in the Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veteran's Cemetery in Suffolk.
