Hattie C. Mason, a lifetime Fox Hill resident passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma Collins and her husband, Sonny Mason.  Hattie worked in the Hampton Planning Department for many years. She loved her animals dearly, especially Scooter. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching and feeding the birds, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Pat Cole (Melvin); her children, Rhonda Quinn (Deryl), Robin Mason, and Brenda Freeman (Brian); her five grandchildren, Jason Quinn, Brandi Burch, Brandon Prevatte, Cole Mason, Haley Giovannetti (Chelsea), and Cameron Shuster; along with her six great-grandchildren she loved dearly, including her best buddy, Brayden.

We offer heartfelt thanks to the Walter Reed Convalescent Center and the hospice nurses for their tender care of our Mom.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Clark Cemetery.  A visitation will be held at the church from 1 – 2 PM prior to the service.
