Harold E. Carpenter, Jr., 71, passed away May 22, 2024 after recently discovering he had cancer.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Hunt Carpenter; his sisters, Janet Furneyhough and husband, Joey and Sharon VanDyke and husband Dickie; and many nephews and great-nieces.

Those who were close to him knew his passion for cooking and fishing and his love for the Chesapeake Bay. He will also be missed by his longtime girlfriend, Tammy and their dog, Missy.
