Glyn H. Bumpus, 87, died on February 10, 2021 after an extended illness.

Glyn proudly served his country for two years in the Army and 21 years in the Air Force.  He did a tour of duty in Vietnam, and was stationed in Iceland, North Africa, Thailand, Spain, and England where he met and married Jean.

After retiring from the military, he was employed for 17 years at Wyle Laboratories, a contractor for NASA.

Glyn loved to travel, especially to England and Spain, where they had lived for three years.  His fondest memories were of the many trips that he and Jean made to Europe.

Glyn leaves behind his wife, Jean; two daughters, Dawn and Lorraine ; three sons, Philip, Bill and Rob; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A private graveside service will be held at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
