Gloria Anderson Ward, 88, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. A lifelong resident of Hampton, she retired from Ft. Monroe working civil service in 1981 then later from the city of Newport News. She was a member of Hampton Baptist Church. She is survived by one son and one cousin.
A graveside service will be conducted 12:30 PM Sunday at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family wishes any memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216 Glenn Allen, VA 23058.
