Geraldine Arnette Fowler, 83, died Saturday, January 10, 2015. Born in Horry Co. NC, she had been a longtime resident of the Peninsula and member of Liberty Baptist Church, Hampton. She retired from Bendix Corporation as a supervisor. Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughters, Jeanette F. Henderson and Theresa F. Miles; son, Billy Wayne Fowler; sisters, Gracie Watts, Delores Dix and Eula Mae Edwards; brother, Frank Arnette; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Monday, January 12, 2014 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton, by Pastor Dan Hardesty. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Park will be private.
