Gerald "Jerry" Minser, 77, of Hampton, passed away June 20, 2023. He will be missed by his wife of almost 55 years, Terri Dunn Minser; his son, Thomas; and daughter Tracy (Chris) Seagle; and granddaughter Evelynn Seagle. Chief Minser served 25 years in the U.S. Navy.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday, June 24, 2023 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave., Hampton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 pm. Burial will be held in Ohio.
