Georgia Marie Taylor, 65, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013. A native of Tuskola, IL, she had been a Hampton resident for the last 30 years. She served in the US Navy for a short time, and was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge 1119. She loved animals and caring for her plants.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie A. Taylor, Sr.; her children, Eddie Jr., Jonathan, Marie, and Gene Taylor; her brother, Audie Harp; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel.
