George E. Keefe, III, 85, died Sunday, June 3, 2018. Born in Norfolk, he had been a Hampton resident for the last 57 years where he had worked for Kraft Foods and later Schwan's Food Delivery from which he retired. He served in the Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret P. Keefe; three sons, Edward L. Keefe, R. David Keefe, and Paul C. Keefe; and a granddaughter, Katelyn.

A memorial service will be conducted at noon Friday, June 15, 2018 at Ivy Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Brian Williams. A graveside service with Army honors will take place at 2:00 PM at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans' Cemetery in Suffolk.
